As a family, we can`t thank Sue and Karl, Suzanne and team enough for making our experience after losing mum an easier one.  The care, love and respect for mum and us shone through.  They talked us through every step of the way, were always on hand to talk to, meet with and message. We were really guided through the funeral process with Sue and the team. We felt like it was our own family getting us through a very tough time. Even on the day of the funeral Sue managed to comfort us all. Finally, when we collected the ashes we were welcomed by all the team. I cannot fault Sue Gibbons at all. Sue Karl and Suzanne are absolutely amazingly warm, kind and respectful people . They make a very difficult and sad occasion so much easier to cope with. Nothing is too much trouble and it feels like you are dealing with friends not a company. The  service they provide is very professional but with a very warm and human touch. We recently used Sue Gibbons Funeral Service when my mum passed away on a recommendation from another family member, We are so glad we used this company they are incredible, Sue, Karl, Brian, Susanne, Helen and other staff are the friendliest polite and most caring and helpful people anyone can ask for.

When it came to making the funeral arrangements Karl and Sue explained everything in great detail and made the whole process as simple as possible, they were always willing to help and answer any questions we had.

When visiting the chapel of rest, Susan Karl and staff made me and my family very welcome without fail, nothing at all was too much trouble, they made the whole process from planning then arranging the funeral right until the end of the funeral a lot easier for me and my family. They even booked a room for the wake, also had contacts to provide the buffet.

After being advised to get quotes from a few funeral firms I began with a local firm, as prices can vary so much between them, so I found Sue Gibbons funeral service, a local independent, family run service.
My informal meeting with Sue went well, and within 10 minutes or so, I knew I needn't try anywhere else.
Sue explained the whole process, then patiently listened to any concerns I had. After which she gave me a very competitive quote for the whole funeral, with no hidden costs, and no pressure to use any of the local suppliers that she supports. She simply tells you which florists, caterers, and venues for the wake could be available, then leaves the final choice to you if that's what you prefer. She takes as much time as you need to go through everything.
Sue is also extremely experienced in embalming, and after I'd had such a gut wrenching mental image of my partner's appearance after his death, she completely understood, and encouraged me to consider visiting him after she had prepared his body. I needn't have worried, as she did a wonderful job making him look so peaceful. He looked amazing. Thanks to Sue, I now have a much nicer last memory of him.
Sue and her husband, Karl are totally dedicated to their business. They go right out of their way to make the experience as pain free as possible for the whole family, not just the applicant.
Sue conducts herself with such respect, tact and dignity at all times, and I certainly won't hesitate to recommend the Sue Gibbons Funeral Service to anyone, whether they require a large showy funeral or a smaller private one.
